Sparking Purpose & Potential

Our approach focusses on providing positive child behavioural guidance, nurturing an international perspective, and the intentional teaching of social-emotional competencies in an educational environment in order to help children succeed in their friendships, school life, home life, future careers and as global citizens in tomorrow’s world.

Furthermore, we aim to support families, educators, international employers and municipalities in better understanding the unique benefits and challenges an international lifestyle brings to families and children to help enable the free movement of expatriate families worldwide.

and tailored to the wishes of the client, our services can roughly be categorised as follows:

  • One-on-one counselling: Applied within the family setting, in-depth addressing child behavioural matters and challenges displayed at home or school.
  • Home-schooling guidance: Personal consultations providing guidance, tips and materials on how to effectively support your child in home-based learning in a manner that suits their age and personality as well as your family dynamics.
  • Lectures: An effective approach for Robbie to share her expertise and experience with a larger audience. In addition to the most requested topics, lectures can be tailor-made based on the client’s request. Lectures are especially popular amongst early years centres, schools, universities, international employers and municipalities.
  • Training Sessions: Informative interactive learning approach tailored to the needs of the group. Whereas lectures are more structured following predefined topics along the way, training sessions are more flexible, gently following the trainees’ pace and areas of interest.
  • Consultation: Opportunity for international employers and local municipalities wanting a deeper understanding of how family related factors, such as international education and childcare, can make relocation a more attractive option for international talent and their families.

Meet Robbie Zein, experienced educational and behavioural consultant

Welcome to Zein Educational Consultancy, I am Robbie Zein – founder of Zein Educational Consultancy and award-winning Zein International Childcare in the Netherlands, Western Europe. I studied early childhood education in Canada and through my work, I have supported thousands of children, families and educators in North America, Europe and the Middle-East.

Canadian by passport, I grew up as part of an internationally mobile family and throughout my childhood, we lived in numerous countries in North America and the Middle East. My work is the result of a lifelong belief that there had to be a better way to support and develop the lives of internationally mobile children and their families – a better way to ensure that the benefits of growing up across cultures truly outweighed the negatives.

In collaborating with employers and municipalities welcoming and working with expat families, I hope to be able to share the experience I gained over the years with a wider audience to support the expat community worldwide. It is my passion to spark the potential of children, families and educators and help them achieve their purpose.
